McKay are searching for Leading Hand Electricians to join their teams nationwide in 2027. These are hands-on leadership roles suited to highly skilled electricians who enjoy being on the tools while taking ownership of site delivery.

As a Leading Hand, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between management and the on-site team, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, planning workloads, and leading a small crew of electricians, electrical technicians and apprentices across a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout the Wellington region. This includes managing timelines and troubleshooting issues as they arise to keep projects on track.
